VARGIS Hires New Director of Sales and Marketing

Sterling, VA, April, 2005 – VARGIS, LLC is pleased to announce the hire of our new Sales & Marketing Director, Mr. Bob Montgomery. Mr. Montgomery has more than 32 years experience in the geospatial industry, 13 of them directly working for an electric utility and over 20 years working for firms providing GIS software and services.

Mr. Montgomery’s background involves the design and implementation of GIS for approximately 300 utilities during his 32 year career and surpassing $300M in executed contract sales in the GIS industry over the past 17 years. According to VARGIS President, Greg Tilley, “Mr. Montgomery’s extensive GIS, IT / software, and management experience brings value that will support the rapid growth of VARGIS; particularly in the utility sector.”
